FAQ

Question: Do you give discounts for siblings?

Answer: Yes, please see prices and packages. Only during “Off-season.”

Question: What is the difference between Private and Semi-Private swim lesson?

Answer:  Private is a 1 on 1 swim lesson with a student and instructor.  There is 100% attention to that student.  Semi-private works best if there are: for example, two siblings or friends.

Question: Are parents suppose to go in the water?

Answer:  Parents are not allowed in the pool during a lesson.

Question: Why are your prices so high?

Answer:  If you search the web for local swim schools, you can find that I’m very average for my price and lesson length (also consider the quality). If prices are too high please check out my “Off-season” rates.  It is much colder in these months but it’s the best price!

Question: You seem more “aggressive” than other schools, because I’ve had a bad experience before, how do I know my child will do well (learn to swim)?

Answer: Every child is different when it comes  to learning to swim.  I wouldn’t say I have a more “aggressive” approach, I just know what kids are capable of and I try to bring that out.  It doesn’t always work out for the parents/kids, but the ones that do keep coming back.  I can’t make promises that your child will learn to swim, because there are way too many factors that take place.  Honesty is very important to me.  I will always be truthful in telling parents  how I feel about a situation.

Question:  Can I get a refund if it doesn’t work out?

Answer:  Yes, this is a sensitive issue, and I’d like to be as fair as possible.  If I’m not able to finish up the swim lessons, I can do a refund, no problem.  Also, if there is an issue we can not resolve, then I’d be happy to refund any un-used swim lessons.  I’m sorry but, no refunds for lessons already taught and used.

Students who are sick: I know how sick babies and toddlers are all the time, so if you give me a 24 hour notice or early morning notice via email or text there will NOT be a charge.  But, ditching swim lessons to go to Disneyland…hmmm…yes, there will be a charge for a “no-show” or lack of 24 notice to cancel.

Teacher who is sick: Yes, I do get sick from the kids very easily, so if they have a cold, better to cancel in 24 hours to not get the teacher sick too!  Also, if the teacher is sick, and must cancel there will NOT be a charge and 24 hour or early notice will be given.

Question:  Can I buy one lesson and see how it works out?

Answer:   Yes, lessons are NOW bought on a weekly or lesson by lesson bases.  This is a new feature that I’m sure parents will be thrilled about. Please note that all babies will cry the first two weeks, and it takes time to see the progress that can be made.

Question: Do you have group lessons?

Answer: Sure, if the kids are the same age, same level and want to learn together, that would be fine. But, they must be over 5 years old.  Any student under 5 would need their own half hour lesson.

Thank you.

This is her number. She got me insurance for my business for about $900.00/ year for a $1M liability. It’s so worth it to know if anything happens.

Tell her Cerra Gfell referred you.
